TT910 Firmware 7.16 and map update!

Hi Folks,

may I have some assistance please Tomtom Helpdesk are closed up for the weekend and their software has fouled up (no suprise I hear you say.....) I am using Home 2.1 and I succesfully purchased the Western and Central Europe map version 7.10. Tomtom Home says its available for down load and indeed downloads it to my harddrive but TT home says server error and fails....... I have located the files on the hardrive but TT home refuses to acknowledge their existance. I have tried 5 times and this is not a small download! 1.9gb....... has anyone any idea how to fool TT home into using the now downloaded version on the harddrive?

Tomtom are just laughable, the Mount the TMC buggy software shocking software and they are the best? for two pins I would go and get a Garmin but I am sure they have a load of problems too.......
