1. Remove front bezel
2. unscrew 4 small screws (1 hole has anti tamper tape over)
3. remove "dome" rear of unit.
4. Remove 2 screws holding speaker in
5. Carefully remove all metal tape covering electronics
6. Remove 4 small screws securing PCB to unit
7. Remove 2 screws holding black plastic battery clip
8. Unplug small battery connector from PCB board.
9. remove battery and insert new one
Then do all of the above in reverse!
Unit fired straight up when all put back together
you will need the proper torx head screwdrivers, these came with the new battery i bought for a tenner on ebay.
p.s. torx drive T8 size for outside casing and speaker screws, T6 size for inside screws.
p.p.s. This page might be of help, although found it after doing the job myself

Moderators - It might be worth transferring this thread to the All in One forum, so that other users of the Go 300 might see it

I followed the dis-assembly instructions above, replaced the battery then noticed a small spring had dropped out. Any idea where it goes on re-assembly? |
