Just downloaded Version 7.131 onto my sons TomTom One. Got the option to update Home to 2.1 so I did. All works OK. Then I connected up my trusty old TTG 500 and have V7.131 running on that. Got some Mapshare updates onto it aswell. So I will wait a bit longer before considering a 720

Udated my TT One v2 today. Works great. I find it boots faster, and Mapshare actually works. have few roads around where I live which have been blocked quite recently and the lovely Jane always tells me to turn to a big slop of concrete. Well, no longer. Hopefully everyone starts using this and sharing. Wondering though what the different "trust" levels mean. I understand the verified by TT, but what are trusted sources and how many people need to share a block before it is concidered MANY, or SOME?

Using a TomTom One V1 - upgraded to 7.13.1 via HOME - all seems to work Mapshare etc BUT no longer have the custome warning sounds for the speed cameras. Try and add a sound it asks if it is the correct sound (but you only get silence) and then it tries to open a pictures directory nd freezes.

Any ideas?

Go my New tomtom One V3 last Week, then decided to to a Update, it went threw the up date ok, but I have noticed a lot of icons have gone i.e many the TT plus icons, I know the V3 dont have blutooth as i did use the weather on the V2 together with TT cameras and traffic and still have active subs to them , looks like they have revamped the operating system and cut out a lot of icons or my Tomtom didnt update correctly ?? any one else noticed the difference

There's now a direct link to it from this help page (describes the Mapshare problem too):

It looks like TomTom have either pulled the download from the site, or there is a problem with the server as the download page only comes up with an explaination of an error at the moment - Mike

That link wasn't to the download itself, but to the description. The link to the download is at the bottom (working at 19:23)

Hmm. Home 2.1.0.92 here says my TT1 V2 with 7.131 doesn't support Mapshare. Mind you, I've never updated the maps (Europe v652.1185).

Ah... "TomTom Map Share requires application version 7.xxx and map version 675.1409 (or higher)"

Added options now include battery saving options. You can also switch the map screen off in between instructions (looks like it's switched off).

Anyone found this unreliable on a TT1 V2?

- Any idea what triggers the 'off' state. It often seems to stay on. (Instructions too frequent?)

- When it comes on, the set brightness seems to be ignored (in comes on bright!)

- Does this feture work for you when the TT is powered?
