Then I don't know why you are not receiving updates. EVERY time I run Home (v1.6 or v2.0) with my TT720 connected I am offered downloads of Mapshare POIs. |

Are you using a v6.75 map? I think mapshare downloads only work with maps from v7 upwards although you can locally update your v6.75 map. |

v6,75 maps work fine on a couple of my devices for upload AND download of map share data, my main concern is how slow the updates are taking to process before becomming available - Mike |

Mike also noticed that some of the updates added by members are then disappearing on the next update.
Last week a PGPSW member added two police stations in Poole and Bournemouth, they showed up on mine but have now disappeared with the addition of another three from further afield but still in the UK.
Tonbridge Police Station 70.3m
Quedgeley Police Station 79.1m
Gloucester Central Police Station 80.6m
It looks like the new updated POI files are not retaining the previous updated items. _________________ Graham.

I have just found the same thing,
As I was losing more and more of my own POI categories, I temporarily removed the 58 (!) CAxxxx.ov2 files that had appeared so far, and reduced the number of built-in categories that I wanted to keep updated in the preferences (to about 35). I then connected to Home and let it do another update, but it only downloaded THREE new CAxxxx.ov2 files, that appear to have new updates but none of the old ones.
Either there is another file somewhere that tells it what updates have been installed, or the system is just not working properly.
Can anyone think of how else we can work out what's going on, so we can come up with a concise report to present to TomTom? |

What I'm seeing is Andy is a previous CAxxxx.ov2 being replaced by a newer version with the same CAxxxx.ov2 name but the newer version is not containing the data from the original plus the new data. _________________ Graham.
