on my TomTom One V2. I have purchased Western Europe on dvd and can`t work out how to install the maps.  I have a blank 1gb card and downloaded the main program, TomTom Application for one V 6.560, and also transferred the Western Europe map (900+ gb) but the thing refuses to turn on. Have i transferred the wrong file, there are individual map files on the dvd but i would need a larger sd card, i hate to admit it but i`m out of my depth at the moment. 
Any help grately appreciated  |

Have you tried a Reset?
When you say "refuses to turn on", is the screen completely blank?
If so, have you tried putting it on Charge?
Does it work without the SD Card in?

It gets as far as the splash screen and that`s it.
I`ve tried resetting.
It`s fully charged.
One suggestion i`ve had is that the application software is incorrect but what is the alternative ? |

If you download THIS, unzip it and follow the instructions it should Install the Software.
It only involves Copy/Paste, so it's easy.

Sorted, i had the wrong software on the card ? anyhow it`s up and running, your help appreciated, thanks, i`ve ordered a larger card, 2gb, the 1gb doesn`t leave much room for poi`s, speedcams etc.
