globalsat usb gps mouse to ipaq??

how can i connect a globalsat br303 usb to my ipaq 3630??
i have it workin of usb on laptop and pc, i have tried a home made connection to serial interface , usb = red, black = 5v power and white,green = data , but i cannot get aconnection , any ideas,

maybe a usb to serial patch lead???

uh - that won't work... the iPAQ can't emulate a USB host interface, and all the USB-to-serial converters work the other way round... You will need to get a serial GPS receiver for your iPAQ
