firmware updates... about how often historically?

I am a potential TT 720 customer. It seems there are several issues that TT needs to address in the Navcore 7 software. Things like ETA times, display gripes, routing and the like. There was an early firmware update, but nothing since to address customer concerns. Historically has TT been forthcoming with software fixes, or do they leave there customers hanging in the wind for months on end?

Usually quite quick with new software versions.
