I have to say I'm very please that I've converted to the dark side Laughing

The 720 is a very nice peice of kit with great build quality and has a few functions which just work so much better than on my old Garmin. Namely the FM transmitter. Bit disappointed to find out you can't route hands free calls over the FM transmitter though Sad The update speed of the screen and the voice recognition are absolutely superb.

I do have one problem and that's with the Bluetooth hands free. I'm using a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 and the caller at the other end will always hear a real bad buzzing noise - quite unbearable really - anyone else experience this?

Also, TTHome downloaded Mapshare updates but how can you check if the updates are active? TTHome crashed just after I updated and I now can't find any reference to them.

Ok not too happy now. Was driving up to Scotland yesterday and half way up the speaker suddenly decided to got nuts - all distored and crackly. Also the screen went really dim whenever there was a sound playing. Had to turn the volume down to 50% for the rest of the journey even after trying a reboot. Strange thing is it's Ok today.

Think I'm going to send it back Sad

I've seen a report elsewhere with similar symptoms and they were caused by a poor connection between the cigar lighter socket and the power adapter.
