Hi all, I have a tomtom 910 and this dose everything I need. A friend of mine is looking to buy a Satnav, now, he has a 4x4 and tows quite a large caravan. Is there a good (not to expensive) Satnav out there, what takes into account larger vehicles ?? ie hight and width. The last thing he needs is to get stuck down a tiny back road !!! Thanks all, I'm sure someone will help me out ......... Smile

at the moment there is nothing that will do height and width limits

if using tomtom then set tit to limited speed at 54mph

have a look at the mio range as thye run a version of iGO

for ease of use id go for tomtom

if you want something that will allow you to plan route with as many way points as you like have a look at something like a novogo s700 or a v30 or a mio 510e would be my recomendations

if you want something that you can plan a route on a pc before hand then you looking at something like copilot on an acer p660 or a garmin nuvi.
