ppc250 replacement cable/gps reciever??

hi all,

the gps cable docking attachment ( the bit that goes into the bottom of the ppc ) has a broken housing and i am trying to find a replacement but so far no luck - i had a look on ebay but also nothing.

Anyone know where i can get one or is it just a generic cable??

also is it possible to use another gps reciever instead of the old Sirf - i would like to use a real nmea gps reciever instead of playing about with winfast navigator each time i want to use the gps.

i fixed the cable yesterday - i found the charging adaptor and took it apart and swapped the cables over to the power plug - its not an easy job - you will need very good light and a magnifying glass.

anyone know about the replacement NMEA GPS mouse???
