Trying to get this set up to work. It seems to be fine with TT 2 but not Fugawi.

Hi have the GPS settings to

NMEA 0183v2 4800
Rikaline_CF HS GPS

TT2 is not running. I have looked in the memory/programs running, all that is running is the Fugawi.

If I go in to GPS with the above settings then I get 5 sats or so and a location.

When I go in to Fugawi and open GPS then look in Show GPS information I get a blanks. If I show sky info I get no fix. I get the P in the top right corner.

Any ideas anyone ?

Hi

Just another follow up

Here is how I have solved it, I'm sure there will be many who will want to do the same. Street Nav and off road walking.

PDA : HP 2210
In Car : TT2 with Rikaline 6010 GPS
Off Road : Fugawi with Rikaline 6012 CF GPS

Hard reset
Pop in the CF GPS
Load in TT GPS Ver 2.07, this is the last version not to lock up the ports of the PDA for TT.
Go in to the gps set up and pick the Rikaline CF and the NMEA 0183 4800, tick the box.
Checked the GPS is showing you position.
Load in the Fugawi on to PDA
Open map
Pick GPS then Pref
Change to NMEA 0183 4800 COM 7 !
then close gps, open gps, show gps pos
All should be well and you should be on the map.

Unplug the CF GPS
Now load in TT2 BUT DO NOT ALLOW IT TO LOAD IN THE NEWER GPS
Run the TT set up and pick the serial not bluetooth
plug in car set up and happy days.

To change back to the Fugawi and CF. Just remove from care, plug in CF GPS, go in to system GPS and change back to Rikaline CF and MNEA 0183 4800

Easy, ha.

Best wishes

Neil
