Mio 168 and Miomap versions

I am trying to help a friend to sort out his speedcam function on his Mio 168.

He claims he is running V3 of Miomap, but my problem is that the Mio website does not seem to recognize that combination? I can download manuals for 168 and Miomap V1 as well as V2, but they give no refrerence to V3 Miomap software.

At the same time, on the Mio website the 168 appears to be one of the units that may run both Mio updater tool and the Miosync software, and those are only compatible with V3 software if i understand it correctly.

Anyone out there running 168 with Miomap V3 or higher?
Any particular issues /problems with the speedcams database?

Any hint or clue would be appreciated.

Hi Swordsman , did you ever sort out speedcams mio168 v3 problems ?
I have looked through the forums and I think that the latest version of the software should be ok but I'm not absolutly sure . Thing is I am thinking of getting the latest miomap v3.x on the sd card , I think this is the easiest way to get the software onto my old medion/mitac 168 . Iwould like to keep the TT6 that I have although that means swopping cards unless there is a way of transfering the v3 to a 2gig card . Is anyone running miomap v3 or iGO on the mio168 ?
