8 j2me GPS apps, all problematic

1) amAze - voices are too quiet
2) Wayfinder EarthBeta - ran out of credit. Will try later, but it appears to actually cost £20? Also, you can download maps but they are too expensive. Due to subscription if something happens you lose the product (ie. company goes bust, discontinued later on)
3) Google Maps own app - doesn't have GPS functionality :/
4) Navigon MN6 - very, very unstable. Usable
5) Mobile GMaps. 3rd party Google Maps app but with GPS. No live navigation
6) Nav4all. Voices won't download for me. Will someone send a voice for me?
7) TrekBuddy - it's picture raster maps only; no directions
8 ) Wisepilot - not free and yet it uses GPRS. I'm a bit suspicious.

Also, I would prefer downloadable maps but I don't want to pay £100 without knowing they are the best quality. GPRS access from these companies can be cut off. There could be downtime or they could decide to start charging.
