Have extracted the asc files and added them to the poi on my SmartST map, however, I keep getting error message saying invalid files. I have changed them to csv files but still get same error message. I can't get anywhere and have no idea how to contact anyone on this site for help. Can anyone help me out? PLEASE!!!

Note: Newer versions of the software, by default, ask for 'Files of type: CSV Files (*.csv)' You might have to put *.* in the File Name window in order to show the asc files.

If you can't get this to work you can either simply rename the asc files to csv files or you can download the files for Garmin as these will also work.

The version is SmartST desktop 2005. Do you think maybe this needs updating?
Thanks,
Elaine.

No - it should work with that version I believe.

What is giving the error message 'invalid files' as you state you have loaded them into the POI screen?

Are you actually seeing them (cameras) in the POI screen on SmartST?

Hi

Nope smartST 2005 does not need updating, most poi files on this site are pig to use. I found a link to

http://www.getoutguide.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/poidownloads/index.htm

these are the only poi I can use on my navman icn 610 so should be working for your satnav (my icn610 is a cut down version)

Kind regards

Michael
