I've been using CoPilot Live Pocket PC 5 (v5.0.1.13) very successfully on a Mio 168 running Windows Mobile 2003. The Mio has become faulty and I may need to buy another PDA, which may have Windows Mobile 5.
Can anyone say if this version of CoPilot will work on WM5?

Copilot v6 does support WM5.
Apparently Copilot v7 supports WM6 too!!

According to the Back of my CP5 CD Case it will only work for Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003 1st or 2nd Edition.
Might be worth checking out the ALK support area....just in case.. |

Thanks. Yes, mine too. Though that's probably unsurprising as at the time CP5 was released WM5 hadn't been.
I've mailed ALK. I'll publish what they say. |

Just to round this off, ALK said: "Unfortunately copliot version 5 does not support windows mobile 5, so you may need to upgrade your copliot to version 6".
No, that isn't what I asked, but I expect it's the best answer we'll get  . |

Hi,
I'm sucessfully using CP5 on WM5 (though the graphics look rather blocky on the VGA screen). I cannot however use the latest patch - only the original version on the CD (surely they wouldn't intentionally disable WM5 support in the patch release to force us to upgrade would they  )
I refuse to pay to upgrade to V6 when V7 is 'just around the corner..... honest Gov'  )
