.cfg file on new tt5 map version

I have the dreaded lost favs and home problem running TT5 with recent map upgrade on a 2210. I do have the old maps on a seperate SD card complete with favs and home intact.
When I copy the cfg file from the older map and replace on the new, this doesn't seem to work. Is the cfg file different on the new maps. I stress that I have not upgraded to TT6, just the maps.?
