Good news is you have the cameras working and set-up, try the POICapture when you are next out on the road, if it locks the device the first time you use it simply reset it then it should be OK - not too sure why the icons are rotated like you say, I thought that version had to be rotated to appear correctly on the device - see what hapens when you use it - Mike

When you set-up the warnings :

1/ Did you set a warning up for each camera (24 in total)
2/ Did you tick the Warn Only if POI on Route box

if answer to (2) is Yes were you driving around without a route? - if the Warn Only box is checked you MUST plan a route to get a warning, if the box is left unchecked you will get a warning all the time. - Mike

You can use "Demo Route" to test them without having to drive anywhere.

Good distances are:
20MPH - 200 Yards
30MPH -300 Yards
40MPH - 400Yards etc.
This gives 20 seconds warning if you are driving at the speed limit
A chart with other options for times/distances is in this post

Your choice....

I use 300 Yards for temp, unknown, variable and redlight.

Mobile sites I set at double the normal distance for each speed.

Other people will have other preferences. Just try it for a while and adjust any you don't like. Smile

Mike
How about creating a set of icons for the speed cam database which instead of a small icon top left as we use it, but an icon that fills the whole screen - would be easier to draw attention for a few seconds for the hard of hearing or when the sound is turned down. Must admit I often use at night with sound down to save waking the kids.
Not sure I have an icon editor or I would do it and post the files back.

The icon size is fixed so there is little we can do about a full screen flashing display with the native TomTom software as far as I know. One idea thinking about your sugestion though are different coloured icons that are brighter (day Glow pink, orange or yellow etc) might get your attention faster though they would only be the same size - food for thought - Mike

yes that one best flash but careful when i goto off road how can i see screen, that flash cannot see map...
best flash colour change map styles that helpful...

there no icon flash, its just popup icon for few sec or when pass camera then go off that good but problem icon that i dont want top side, i want choose where at...
and too small so read next below is better...

there icon i dont like too mix up say 60 or 40 with red round, that i want popup warn just icon camera warn with flash change to speed 40 then change camera then change to 40, if you know what i mean...

there tomtom i seen bottom screen have speed (mph) on it so though why dont match if there road limit, i mean when tomtom mph say 46mph there map say 40 then popup warm say slow down Idea
might best same as above...

everything you all people like best choose, why tomtom havent any idea to add on best for people. so why people buy tomtom for?
