I have just read Dave's review of the 4400 and it mention lock-ups with iPaqs running PPC2003. Does anyone know if this has been fixed with the 4410 and SmartST v2 ?

I used to use an iPaq 3870 with 3400 Jacket, but wanted to upgrade the iPaq and now my wife wants the 3870 plus 3400 !! So in need of something for myself.... I like the SmartST interface and it seems a bit daft to have 2 devices running different software - unless anyone can convince me otherwise.

All comments and suggestions gratefully recieved.

TIA
Nick

5550 and 4410 work fine together. That's the combination I use.

There was a fix posted for the version 1 software a little while ago to fix this problem.

I've been using the 4400 (same hardware, v1 software) with the 5550 without a problem.

I have found it pays to make sure you switch off the connection & bluetooth on the ipaq before switching it off though, as sometimes it wont reconnect after, and does lock up in these situations.
