Garmin Mounts

Hi Guys

Anyone used a Garmin portable mount before? How exactly does the satnav connect to the mount? Any good? I also saw on Amazon a "professional mount" which they imply is a Garmin product but I can't see it on the Garmin website. Interestingly, it says that 100% suction is guaranteed and this is a replacement for the existing low suction mount. Can't find any mention of this on Garmin's website though. The final straw with my 310D which resulted in it going back for a refund was it was falling off the windscreen regularly. Perhaps this new mount is the answer?!

It would appear that similar mounts are available on eBay

I don't think they are genuine Garmin though. I could be wrong though
