I got my icn530 in Costco Glasgow on Monday morning... They were flying off the shelves! I was back there today for other stuff, and they were handing out N20 models at the checkouts... no waiting list. Just in case anyone's within travelling distance!

Welcome to the Forum.

Thanks for the info - regret it's too far for me - I am still hoping that Milton Keynes will get to me on the list before long. They tell me that they have 700 orders and they are only getting 20 per day - I understand I am on page three (No not the Sun) Embarassed , but I don't know how many on each page. Should be OK for Christmas...

Still waiting for my N20 from Costco - has everyone else that was waiting for delivery now received theirs ? I know that there appears to be great difference in the stores deliveries and stocks. Confused

I've just spoken to Oldham where I ordered mine from and they said head office have promised them stock by the end of next week.
Cheers

Oldham Costco seemed to have loads of 530's boxes on display last week, unless they dont have as many units as they have boxes?

When I ordered mine the week before they had shed loads of 630's (i think thats what they were) but didn't have any 530's on the shelves.

That said i'm only taking their word for it as I haven't actually been in since. I'm maybe pop in there in the next couple of days. They assure me the list will be honoured so i'm ok with that.

Would be nice to get it soon tho' need new gadget... need new gadget Laughing Out Loud

Does anyone think that there is now a case for a new forum for the F & N series Navman - or is that spreading the discussions to far.

New GPS, new forum?
It’s been good communicating with you over the past couple of years, but remember us iCN 5xx’s when you start all over again with your N20, that it was here that you found all your answers.
Best of luck.

I think Nortonbeak's answer was the most sensible - then I can stay here Wink

As the N series appear to be the successor to the 5xx series, I think it would be wise just to alter the name of this Forum to include them.

It's only a move up in the iCN5XX's - not a move away and anyway, I like it here...got to have some loyalty Laughing My intention was to go for the 530 rather than upgrade from this December's software and mapping upgrade. When Costco changed their offer, it seemed the only financial, logical thing to do. I hope I don't regret it. I've got to know my 510's quirks.Cheers!

Hi
GeePee
I though I would get that type of response Laughing
Would most probably have followed suit, but there are no Costco stores in Wales. The nearest is Bristol.
Not knowing anyone with an access card, plus fuel costs & bridge toll, which would put another £20 to the cost?
I have asked Santa, for either an update or a new GPS, but it all depends on revenue.
Regards

Got my N20 from Costco at last tonight. Haven't had a chance to try it out much just took a trip out for a coupel of miles to msae sure it all worked and it seems fine.

Anyone know a cheap source for a mains adaptor? cheapest I've seen is 18 quid which seems a bit OTT.

£4.99 from Halfords. Their Navshure range. Identical to Navman. See this post HERE
I bought an antenna from that range - works perfectly I think it was about £7.99 Wink

Got mine last night, so have only done a quick trip into work with it. Navigation instruction much better as it speaks the motorway junction numbers and road numbers. Baggiest downside already reported in this forum is the sound quality. It's a lot louder than the 520 but much more muffled, you can hear it but it just doesn’t cut through the noise like the 520. I'll post a more detailed message when I’ve had it a little longer.
