Fed up with out of date TomTom Maps

Just got back from Ireland.
Got off ferry in Belfast headed out of Belfast with TT GO working, outward at some piont in the City airport area the mapping ceased. Other areas of NI no maps.

Went into Halfords they sell the Garmin to the locals with Ireland mapping
at £199.
They do not recomend TT for Ireland as they use TeleAtlas.

Now if I were to throw my TT GO away and get Garmin what are Garmin like at
updateing thier maps?
(Frequency, cost and accuracy)

Sell your Go and buy a TT One V2 they have full street level mapping of Ireland (North and South) both the GB and Europe versions include Ireland, despite the GB version being teleatlas its maps of Ireland are excellent you can buy one of these online for about £170 the Europe version has Navteq mapping and costs £225 with the discount code from Dixons online, my brother has one of these and they are excellent
