I have had my Classic now for a good long while without too many problems.

Running V5.202

Recently after starting my journey, everything is 100% for about 30 minutes...then, the map display freezes, but the voice directions and POIs are announced as normal.

Even a reset does not unfreeze the map.

If it is left running for 4 or 5 hours, it magically returns to normal.
This has happened twice now...

Anyone any ideas please.

Thanks

Roger

It's a new one to me.

Does it do the same without a Route Planned?

How much Free Memory is there on the SD Card?

Just fishing for clues.;)

Why not update your software to 6.1 using TT Home. It will still work with the older maps. Beware if you decide to udate your GB map using TT Home, last Sunday 10/09/06 I updated a friends and the maps were v6.32 which is 10 months old, still pursuing this with TT and Trading Standards.

luw is probably using ScaredyCats Apps. If so they will only work on 5.202, but if not he could well upgrade to 6.15.;)
