Used the new one today and so far everything seems ok.

I only had to have the volume set at 60% on this one to hear it (and speed volume works too!) not like the 100% on the old one.
The mount seems good and no loss of connection problems, and no problems with the handsfree either.

Here's hoping it keeps up the good work.

:D :D :D

I've now got a Go 510 and I got that as a result of taking back a Garmin i3 to Halfords and a Medion Sat Nav to Aldi, both of which went faulty on me, but within the years warranty. I find that if you take things back to the shop as faulty within the years warranty, you can get either a refund or an exchange. I wouldn't be sending my SatNav off for repair if it was within the warranty period.

Halfords were great for me, although I was getting a much more expensive unit, they didn't know it at the time, so this obviously didn't influence their decision.

So far so good with the Go 510, apart from a phone and home dock issue which I will address when I get my new computer.

That is the advantage of buying from a store rather than online - a lot easier to deal with face to face.
Also interested that it is not only tomtom that has problems - proving it is a bit of the luck of the draw I think.
