8O Well then. Daily Mail today ran an article on a 'Which' survey about SatNav tests.

ALK limped in last with 50% for CoPilot.

Obviously Dave Burrows dosn't work for Which then..............

Incidentally, Mr Burrows has still not returned any of my calls despite numerous promises by his staff some months ago.

Dave do you really exist or are you a "Virtual" Manager Question

Huh? How come this "damning new report" admits Sat Nav systems get it right 99% of the time. Perhaps they were expecting 100%? What a quality piece of journalism from the Daily Mail.

The consumer magazine says a sat-nav system is 'not a magic wand' to avoid queues completely.

Doh! And who expects that it would be? Do people think that their is some top secret short cut to avoid the traffic jams on the M25 that the Sat Navs were supposed to tell us about? Laughing

Daily Mail wrote:
another nearly caused an accident when it told the driver to skirt a queue by performing a dangerous U-turn.

And if a Sat Nav told the Daily Mail to drive off a cliff they probably would!

On the plus side, they do make some fair comments about the quality of the map data. Navteq maps have too many dirt roads and country lanes coded the same as major roads and this certainly leads to some interesting routes.

With the explosion in Sat Nav usage, they need to buck their ideas up and fix the coding of the roads.
