Hi all,
I am using CoPilot Live 5. I would find using the sw so much more useful if I had an extensive POI database of hotels, hospitals, stores, etc.
Is there anywhere I can go to get my hands on a reliable source of POIs for the states (I mean several million POIs)? I would even be willing to spend a few bucks if the data is reliable.

Our partner site GPSpassion has a few POIs
http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/default.asp?CAT_ID=20
"several million" - you could rip POIs off MS MapPoint (this would be illegal though) or Google Maps (in TomTom format). In both cases you'll have to convert the result into CoPilot format.

Any details of the partnership? Do subscribers to this site get access to the "Plus" version of the GPSpassion cameras database?

The partnership is mainly focusing on exchanging insider information. We don't reallt\y have the bandwidth to do more than that, but thanks for the hint anyhow.

Sorry for the ignorance, but how would I rip the POIs off either source?
