Can anyone tell me what the latest is on the updating of the Ireland mapping in Co-Pilot There was a major announcement including a slot on the national news that Naveq had completed the full mapping of Ireland in June of this year. I understand that Garmin are already providing the new mapping in some of their products and was wondering if ALK had any dates etc.for an upgrade of the mapping.

Thanks

Paul.

Unfortunately not the case. Maps have to be compiled for the specific program you are using, sometimes even for the specific version of it. It is just a case of getting hold of some maps and loading them in.

As to when updated maps will be available for CoPilot, unless ALK make a map release available, that could be when V7 is released.
