Sorry to ask a silly question

I have TT510 and i have downloaded and updated a few things and activated the trial plus etc all works well.

I noticed the SD card is small and i only have 6MB left, so i used one from my PDA 512 made a back up using TT home and then restored it on to the new card.
Now everyting i start it up (512) is says that i must activate it go to ttdode blah i have the code on a small credit card slip .

It this some security feature and will i be ever be able to use a bigger card?

you can use any SD card size you want. We had some reports that a few cards are not compatible, so better use a good brand card (Kingston or Lexar come to mind)

i have just asked the same question i thought that all sd cards would work but i have tried a sandisk which the tom tom will not recognise and another card with no name on it and that dosent work this is my last attempt i will try a kingston or lexar to see if that does work
