Tomtom 710 Addons?

Hi,

I have just bought a tomtom 710 and am wondering if there are any add on applications? A friend of mine has a Pocket PC with loads of nice wee apps.

The 710 is not a Pocket PC (not at all) so forget about that comparison quickly.

Have a look at Makayama, or do some reading on Linux shell programming... That's how far it goes. There are some GPS related add-ons for the GO range, like TripMaster etc.

Thank you, yes I know it is not a pocket pc, but would have thought there would be loads of addon applications.

So it it the case that there is not really any?

"not any" is not correct. There are some, but few. Go write your own, the tools are publicly available. Look at http://opentom.org
