bonjour mateys...just to let you know that the i3 worked brilliantly on a recent day trip to calais and boulogne...i had street level mapping and even the channel tunnel and petrol locations were on it...the voice navigation really helped when driving on the wrong (right) side of the road..... _________________ *************************** |

Thanks for telling us, its good to know! Maybe i'll try it now. Did it do any better with knowing about all roundabouts? Theres several unidentified roundabouts on my driving trips here in the south of uk. |

every roundabout was identified..and it now makes sense why the i3 says 'take second exit' not turn left of r/a..in france you go round r/a the wrong way! _________________ *************************** |

It is understandable the french drive on the wrong side, what chance do they stand when all their cars have the steering wheel on the wrong side as well..... _________________ -----------------------------------

We took my son to my brother-in-law's appartment in Greece when he was six (now 34). He laid the table and put the knives and forks the wrong way round. As he'd always got it right at home we asked him why, and he replied that, as they drive on the wrong side of the road, he thought they'd use their knives and forks the wrong way round too. _________________ Anita
