Hello all,

I have a problem with the speed camera POI's on my Tom Tom One.

The square box that prompts for a speed camera type, which is supposed to have the picture of the camera type on a white background, it doesn't. Mine displays the picture of the camera on a clear background. Whilst not this is not critical or anything, it is damn annoying.

I hope this is clear, I tried making a screen dump using Tom Tom Home but for some reason it works correctly in this.

Kind regards

Craig, what version of software are you running on your device and how long ago did you last change the BMP files (the icons)? Also are the icons the ones from this site or elsewhere? - Mike

thank you for replying mike,

I've solved the problem, by formatting the SD card and installing a previously working backup, then reinstalling everything. It seems to be working fine now! (fingers crossed)

I had updated from version 5.*** to version 6.*** software, Something probably got corrupted somewhere along the line.

Not a cleen way of solving the problem, but it seems to have worked none the less.

Kind regards

Wink

I suspected vs6 was creeping into the story somewhere, the vs6 requires different colour depth to display correctly on the device, when I first got my 910 all the icons were black and white! a simple edit through Adobe sorted the problem out.
What we found were the icons were displayed in colour on the main nav screen but the Warning icon (top Left) was devoid of any colour, if you find this happens change the colour depth and it will work fine - Mike

Laughing Out Loud. I'd love to have the icons to have a transparent background!
Never found a pallette number that did it though.
Anyone else managed it?
