New forum for Mio 510 /710

No I was speaking about the mio C510 and E710 I think they are called and nwas talking about spped camera s downloads etc. I understand you can get speed cameras downloads direct from tthe MIO site.

In the past I had a nuvi 300 and downloaded speed cameras database from here which resulted in getting a warning from the unit when driving at 12 mph in a 70mph and being ifnormed that i was breaking spped limit.

I need a device that will cover Northern Ireland and South Ireland, had been thinking os the Road Angela 600 but it only does north, have also looked at Medion Go Pal but not sure.

Some information on download of the speed camaers database on the Mio would be useful

I think a dedicated 510 / 710 forum would be a great assett. I've spent the last 4 days (since i got my 510) searching for ways to fix the speed limit warning problem, add a female UK voice, plus data about the speed camera database. All this would have been so much easier if it were under a dedicated forum. Thanks to the forums here all problems have been sorted so thanks to all who helped.

Maybe it would give us an excuse to kick Mitac's rear and sort out the software/poi issues....
