Is my A201 dead

Hi all, just wondered is my A201 dead, as one day it would not turn on, tried, on switch, soft reset removal of battery and nothing

so followed instructions for hard reset, but when I replace the battery and press record then put cover on, it does not say cold boot/ loading, it just says loading then it goes to the Mio a201 welcome screen and there it stays stuck, I then cant do anything with it, it wont tuen off, unless it is left for a lengthy period of time, when it does switch off but then you still cannot do anything with it.

I had the same problem with my A201 straight out of the box would not go beyond the welcome screen.
contacted Mio who said the device was daed on arrival and to return it.
So you have to try and exchange it with your seller.
