I have used the new speed camera notification method on this web site but have heard nothing ! It's been over a month now.
I have sent the co-ordinates on 2 seperate occassions.
Any ideas??

There seems to be some issues with verification of new sites, yours is not an uncommon complaint on the forums.
The team tell us they are working through ideas and solutions.

Thanks for your reply; in the mean time we wait ?
While driving down to London last week on the M40 I have noticed 2 new speed cameras just installed !
Un-able to get co-ordinates.

You should get an automated "Confirmation of Speed Camera Submission" email message just after you submit the camera. Did you not get this email message? Maybe it was blocked by some spam filter...

Hmm, maybe you weren't the first to report them.  I think they only notify you if you are the first.
It did take 6 weeks before my new camera was added though, so maybe they are still getting around to checking it. Are the cameras you reported included in the latest database?

I've submitted a few position changes / old camera sites being reactivated after a year but not heard anything.
It would be nice to query the status of these submissions - something along the lines of
waiting for confirmation
already known about
error in submission
please let us know more
etc
At the moment it just feels like everything is going in a bit bucket somewhere.
Even if they get "100s of emails" a day there must be an automated way |

i use to email them and they would ber in the next update guarneteed, however nowwith this new system, nothing gets through.  |

Thanks for all your replies, I have checked on the new database release the camera's I notified to them have not been added.
I notified them back in May 2006; would be nice if they replied and said sorry site already notified.
They need to get a better system this one's not very good.
After all it's people like us keep a watch out for new camera sites !
