HP 4700 Windows Mobile 5 upgrade & TT5

Hi All,

I upgraded my iPaq 4700 to the latest WM5 software, and now I am reloading all my apps back onto it, I can't get TomTom 5 to install correctley. I have asked it to install itself onto the CD card by no directories show up?

What give?

First off all are you using the latest Active Sync? then which version of TomTom Navigator are you trying to load? only version 5,21 (the latest) will install correctly from a PC - download it free from TomTom.
As for installing to the memory card use a card reader its much faster than using the Active Sync for this part - Mike

I also have a 4700, updated to Windows Mobile 5. I have had a lot of trouble with it as have many other people. There are rumours of a fix from HP that will sort it out.

It is also about 25% slower....
