I have noted all the comments about the N70, freezing and the like, and have come to the conclusion that the operating system cannot handle the Tomtom software (my conclusion, flame away).... I have now tried 3 N70's with various versions of the software and GPS devices.....

Anyone know if one of the new Nokias has been improved to accommodate the software? I have tried an N80 tonight and it went the same way... Confused

On closer inspection the N80 has the same operating system as the N70 and this is getting a little frustrating..... I have the Ipaq stuck to the windscreen and the Nokia (whatever) in the cradle and am looking for a little simplification...... Any ideas (apart from XDA) Smile

I've been using a Nokia 6600 for some time now without any problems. I believe that some bluetooth recievers can be a bit iffy with TomTom. I use a Cellink BTG 7000 costing around £50 (check out the Cellink site). The 6600 is a bit dated but can be bought second hand for around £80-£100.

I've tried quite a few receivers, but am currently using a BT477.... It has now been tested on the N70, N80 and N91 and is still exhibiting the same symptoms of "freezing"......

Gonna hold out and see what Nokia come up with after the series 60 symbian platform has ran its course....

Currently running the software on the same card.... An Integral 256Mb Reduced MMC card.....

Never considered the card to be a factor given it isn't particularly large in capacity......... Any recommendations, will ing to try anything at this point? Confused
