pois on tomtom navigator 5

Hi everyone
As you might imagine i am having trouble with enabling pois on my mio a701.
I have a lot of pois showing on the installed sd card.
I have been told only 40 will show.
Does this mean if i delete the rest and leave 40 on the sd card all these will show on the tomtom
Please help i am nearly desperate to sort this out...........

It's actually 39 that TT can handle at the moment.

You might find that if you Enable all of them the Map Refreshs might make the Navigation a bit jerky. Use Warn When Near as a better way.

Are you sure? I have 40 on mine (Navigator ver 5.21). Any more and it just omits whichever ones it wants.

As said above, they have to be hidden on the map if they are big ones as it just slows things down too much, there's no need to show them anyway. You can still warn when near speed cams and navigate to them.
