Hi all

A dark mark has appeared on the screen of my TT500.It appears to me under the surface.
My unit is only 2 months old - would it be covered under warrantee Question

Depends on whether you've damaged the screen yourself, as I thnk that damaged screens are not covered.

Sounds similar to the problem I had with my TT1. Noticed it from new so took it straight back and got it exchanged. There were quite a few reports of this 'blob' on screens around Christmas time. Problem seems to be due to small area of the screen being depressed and touching the underlying layer. Someone else posted to say that they had cured the probem using a small sucker to gently lift the screen over the 'blob'.

It does look like a production fault in the screen and my unit is always in the bag when not in use.

Think I will be making a call to TomTom this week :D
