I'm getting an error, 'Cannot connect to TomTom traffic' over GPRS and ActiveSync. I've checked my account and I still have another week and a half of the free trial left. Anyone else having problems, or just me? |

I always had problems.
I kept getting the error 2007 you need an account etc. I was going round in circles inputting my account info etc. I contacted TomTom and they reset my account with them when I was on the trial. It then worked again until I had to perform a soft reset on my PDA. I think that was the cause of my problem earlier. Not bothered to try and sort it since. The traffic info on the radio and the overhead signs on the motorway were much faster at alerting me of any traffic problems than when I actually got the TomTom traffic working. |

No, still not for me. It was fine this morning, but when I tried it around 5pm it wouldn't connect, and hasn't since. |

Strangely though, I can update Weather with no problem. It looks like there must be a problem with my account. |

I've just seen this thread.... I too was having problems with TomTom traffic the other day, same problem, couldn't connect over GPRS but weather was working. I E-mailed TOMTOM support and they informed me that they were having problems with their server and it should be working again soon. The next morning it worked and then at about 5pm it was down again! Since then it seems to be OK. Not to sure about the service in general though, I have found myself sat in traffic when it's supposed to be clear and vice versa.
Oh well, I've subscribed for the year so I'll just have to see how it goes. |
