Brighthand have a link to an HP (US based) driver update.

Looks like it fixes the hang when switching off the ipaq while there is an active BT connection.

Will it work Ok on UK based ipaqs?

Why don't you try it out and let us know? You can always roll back if necessary (of course you should do a full backup before starting the test)

Ok,
Bin there, done that and it works fine.

In TT2 while running with BT GPS link I just switched off my IPAQ then switched it back on. TT2 took a bit of time to start updating the map again but it all came back to life and carried on as normal after about a minute.

:D

I tried this on both the 1940 and 2210, it does stop the bluetooth manager when you start TomTom and press cancel without selecting a Bluetooth Device, but when you exit the application it is still at the background giving the Bluetooth Browser endlessly and need to soft reset both the devices before loosing it.
My Advise: modify the registry with an reg editor and remove the autostart in the Bluetooth software, this is the best solution yet.
