For interest, Click - formerly Click on Line on BBC News 24 is currently running a piece on how mapping for GPS is produced. When you see it, one can appreciate why it takes so long to produce the maps and to correct errors. Wink

Interesting! Reminds me of an episode of Top Gear (I think) where they showed how the London A-Z was made and revealed that they deliberately include minor errors so they can tell if another publication has just cribbed off them....

Hmm seem strange how those ppl mapping the street the conventional way when they can use satelite to map the entire world in a matter of days. Google earth is a good example , full street map of the entire world, and IF you have the PRO version you can even spy on your neighbours 8) .
