When in various menus on the tomtom system you are prompted to press the screen at the bottom left or right corners of the screen depending on what your answer is.
What is happening for me is
1. when the right key is depressed 'menu' is displayed
2. when the left key is depressed 'contacts' are displayed
Both these are functions on the phone and not on tomtom system
Has anyone else come across this and resolved the matter.....

Yes, I had this problem and had to do a hard reset to fix. It wasn't just TomTom that was affected, the menu along the bottom of the screen was wrong for all applications. I was trying a few different GPS programs just before it happened (GPSTuner, GPS Dash etc) and I think it was one of those that caused it (although I can't be sure).

I've had this problem too, got the first time today. It's as if the bottom menu bar is active over the top of tomtom even though you can't see it until you press the softkeys in tomtom.

Anyway, a soft reset did the trick for me & it's fine now. I thought it might be related to the processor slowing down as the battery voltage was very low at the time.
