Setting Home Location on TomTom Nav v5 -wont find road in UK

Hi,

Got TomTom Nav on my XDA mini 5 but even though finds me, when I goto assigning my home the adress is not there. i have the great britain plus maps, is there a away to update the addresses?

Why not just go outside your front door and record the current GPS position as your Home location? You don't need to look up the address in the program.

Exactly what I did.

Tomtom numbers in my road stop at 42. I live at number 69, I think it stops at 42 because that's where the even numbers stop (the odd numbers continue to 89!)

But just sit in your driveway and set your home position to the current GPS location...

I just this second did that on mine, was showing home as the nearest road that crosses the road next to mine, if you follow me (I`m lost, anyone got a sat/nav, Laughing Out Loud

?). At least I can find where I live now, thanks. wink:

the house numbers are grouped so you number may not be in there but will be grouped in a block some streets may not have everynumber on every street
