Installing TomTom on A701

I bought my A701 with TomTom preinstalled on an SD card. I need to do a hard reset this evening as some of the screen redraws have gone a bit screwy, so I presume I'll need to reinstall TomTom. Will it auto-install when I insert the SD card, or is there anything else I need to do?

I very much doubt that it came pre-installed, since the A701 is not on the official TomTom compatibility list.

Best case everything will work fine. Worst case your device will have a new device ID after each hard reset, and this will quickly eat up the available activations...

It was preinstalled by the retailer and they activated it etc.

Everything was fine after the reset. The device ID apparently stayed the same and TomTom didn't ask me for any codes. I was surprised to see all my favourites still there as I'd assumed they were saved to the device rather than the SD card. It's reassuring to know that if I do install something that doesn't play well with WM5 I can easily fix it.
