I have not chased a response 'till now, as I assumed you are all under pressure at this time, but I did submit my details on Wed 1st and have not yet had an acknowledgement. Shall I just wait |
Thanks for very speedy response. Less than 1/2 hr after posting this, got my confirmation and all working very well. _________________ Gee-Pee

You're very welcome.
We have emailed 4 or 5 people for clarifications, but we are pretty much up to date now with all subscriptions (we know they'll be many more).
Any others that have emailed us and we haven't responded? If so, it has to be that either your email, or ours to you, didn't get through. Please PM me with full information and I'll get it sorted asap.
It's looking as if AOL could be causing a problem with blocking some emails BTW. |

but you ARENT a hardware distributor that sells their own gps equipment (as above). You're charging for something which is free knowledge. It seems to me that greed plays a big part in your actions... from once what started out as your stand against speedcams. |

you can even get the locations out of an AA road map for christ sakes... and who goes round updating all the speedcams ? not the site owners that for sure, and in return you give the contributors a 'token download section'. Oh and please dont tell me all your profits go towards the running of the site because its run ok up until this point. |

Well I just want to say thanks. I was just about to pay and down load the database from tomtoms site for around £70 per year. Found this site via runnerworld forum and with a bit of help from the forums I've got a database for £2 :D
Now I know it works, when the next database is released I'll take out the years subs.
How often is the database updated and released or does it vary? |

It seems to me that the only people complaining are the ones that have never and are not planning on contributing to the database. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Hi Darren
I have been away in Australia (with TomTom of course) since the end of last year, and come back to see all this fuss over the database. I submitted my local Temp Gatso on the M1 roadworks has now been removed (09/03/06) but not received any details back. What is the current turnaround time for my membership to be processed?
Regards,
Paul (Rammo) |
