How frustrating to find that the Speed Camera Database is now 'Subscription Only' - what is worse is that the 'PayPal' method of paying is still not active.
A more unprofessional team and launch you could never find - such is the rush to get revenue!!!
Clean up your act and have everything in place before you launch! |

This is certainly not directed at you Tomcat, but when we made the announcement about membership almost 100% of people who commented about payment method asked us not to use PayPal (bad experiences I guess). This was the main reason we launched with Nochex.
However, we decided that choice was king hence the announcement that PayPal will follow. PayPal though has proved to be problematical when it comes to integrating with our system, hence the delay.

As you can see we decided to let people know that they would soon have a choice of payment if they wished in the future. We (obviously mistakenly!) thought this was the polite thing to do. We may even introduce further payment systems that we are currently investigating. Should we not announce our intentions of which systems these are in case we get attacked again for doing so?
We were genuinely only trying to be helpful by letting people know what was coming in the future.  Sorry it has upset you so much. |

As Nochex requires no pre-registration I don't see what the issue is here?

It's just occurred to me that you may not have seen the announcement on the home page norfolkman47.
All visitors who contributed cameras and donated via PayPal get free lifetime membership anyway - so no need to pay. I assume, as you appear angry, that you have contributed to the community and now feel left out. In that case, all you have to do is follow the announcement instructions on the front page. |

Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
