Back after a break and confused

Hi, after having a car with in build navigation I put the TomTom Go Classic away, but have now changed cars again and have dug out the TTGC and came here and find everything has changed!

Can you help please?

I have version 5.100 what version(s) do I need to install to get up to date.

I have the MOWE and GB prior to big upgade fuss of last year, do these need changing?

Are the speed camera databases now pay only? If so what happened to decide to charge? Not complaining just catching up.

hi

the latest update from tomtom is 5.420

the maps do not NEED changing, its a case of do you WANT to update. the general feeling seems to be that the update was a waste of money as the maps have very little difference and many people complained that there were to many errors not fixed.

the only benefit was that you got the postcode search facility with the maps (not legally available seperatly) which in my case was a massive help to me in finding customers in the middle of nowhere

the speed camera database on this site is still free

i have just gone to download this months speed camera database and it now appears to be on a subscription basis not free as it was before
