Thanks guys - I downloaded February's database successfully, though I missed the ease of doing it through POI Edit and had to stop and think about what I was doing.  Is it likely to be update-able through POI Edit agaiin at some stage in the future? Or is that possible now (in which case I need direction!) |

I have reported a camera but i do not get enhanced priviledges
why?. I have reported a gatso camera GATSO 2271 at Matlock. |

I also have tried to download speed camera databases for Tom Tom go 300 and All I get is document files, not zipped files. I am using the tom tom ovl setting.

Not sure what the problem is Clive. Others have signed up successfully before and after your post. However, I did notice that the Nochex payment system is a little slow at the moment and they serve the payment button from their site.

Er no registration email to me, even tho i gave a cam or two yonks ago (I even got some removed which were supposed to be situated either side of a roundabout!).
Cant even contact you or use the "registration forum" to complain...
imagine my suprise....

I suspect there might be quite a few of us that have submitted cameras in the past and enjoyed pleasant replies back from Oldie in Farnham but not received our free subscription.
I'd be amazed if I could find them after all this time so might be hard to comply with all the requirements - not sure I even sent attachments - as I vaguely remember I used to type out Lat and Longitude. |

| Now the camera numbering has changed in this database issue, will you still accept camera modifications using the old camera numbering used in your Jan database because I don't plan to buy it for a month or two. |

Please remember that the whole point of forums is precisely that you CAN contact us (and thousands of others of course).
You are far likelier to get a prompter answer using the forums. Several moderators and team members monitor the forums constantly. We all see what is written on the forums, but individually, less likely to see what is written and sent to a specific email address.
Can we encourage everyone who hasn't read the front page announcement or just skimmed over it, to read it now. We have set out clearly what we are doing and how to contact us - ironically by email this time! :D
On a separate note, the admin for the sign-ups of the thousands of people who have previously submitted cameras or donated via PayPal is, overall, going well. However, one recurring problem is that we are having to reconcile non existent user names. Can we ask you to double check the user name and its spelling that you sent to us in your email to request membership. Many thanks.
Additionally, it's surprising (or maybe it isn't!) how many people have changed their email address since submitting - we had loads bounced back to us from the initial email we sent to all known addresses! |

Hi, I’ve just signed up for one months subscription and have downloaded the UK safety cameras data base for Tomtom (OV2 format)
All I received was a single file of unknown format (size 114 KB) called ‘downloadcameras’. Is this correct?
It is not recognised and won’t open up with any application. I would have expected a zip folder containing the OV2 files. I have not made any attempt to load it onto my Tomtom GPS until I have confirmed that it's OK. |

What happens when you click on the "Download Database" button on THIS PAGE?
On my browser, I have it set to ask what I want to do with the file, the default option being to "Save it as..." and the file names for the three UK options are now:
TomTom_OV2_UK_-_Consolidated_by_type_(Gatso,Mobile,etc).zip
TomTom_OV2_UK_-_Single_file_with_all_cameras.zip
TomTom_OV2_UK_-_Speed_Zoned_Complete_(23_files).zip
(yesterday, everything was called "PocketGPSWorldCameras.zip") |
