Laptop GPS trials?

Are there any trial versions of laptop GPS software available? I'd like to get either CoPilot of Infomap, but I can't find anything on their sites. Maybe if someone has an image of the disc they could share with me via PM? :P

The reason I ask is because I've been screwed multiple times with software lately. If I could try it first, if I liked and used it, I'd buy it on moral grounds.
