yup.

Father ted: "Now Dougall I want you to concentrate very hard, these cows (pointing to toy plastic cows on the table) are very small, those cows (points out of the window) are far away"

Its a tomtomgo classic if that makes any difference Question

Never had any problems on my classic. I'm stumped. Can't see the problem, maybe somebody else has any ideas?

is it because I 'replaced' the original tomtom splash

ie is their some sort of coding that has been deleted that was in the original splash file?

I've just had an idea.
I can't do it myself right now, because I cannot upload to my webspace from work, but why doesn't someone put their own (working) splash screen up on the web somewhere, without changing it at all (ie not changed to jpg to be able to see it on a forum, no name change to be able to post several in the same place - just a single, working "splash.bmp"

Then post a link here, and anyone with this problem could be directed to it to try, or even have it emailed to them off-list.

Problem was as follows:

THE IMAGE MUST BE 72 DOTS PER INCH ISH.

The images I was trying to use had higher dpi and therefore need reformating to 72dpi for them to work.

Hi,
I had the same problem.
I just removed the .bmp at the end(as mentioned before).
Just name it: splash

Hope this helps.
