Markie - I've got a Mac and transferring to your TomTom One is easy. Just download the database and it should automatically 'unzip'. Plug the unit into a USB port. Open up the 'drive' that mounts and then just drag the files you want to use into the Great_Britain-Map folder; the same as you would with a PC. Drag the 'drive' to the trash to unmount and you're done.

Hi,

Another Mac user here (isn't everybody?).

TomTom is actually evry Mac friendly, which is one reason why I went for othem in first place. You'll find that the restore software which comes on the CD has an OSX version.

You don't need that though to install camera or other POI (point of interest) files. Once connected via USB the TTOne will just mount as a drive, then you drag the files to the correct folder. Actually i think I just put the SD card in a card reader and mounted this on desktop but probably works the other way too. As far as I remember all the POI files go in the GB map folder.
